Ingredients
- 1 1lb box of Mrs. T's Classic Cheddar Pierogies (Full-sized)
- 1 medium yellow or white onion, finely chopped
- 2 large carrots, peeled and chopped into small pieces
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped into small pieces
- 4 pre-cooked cheddar sausages (alternate sausages include kielbasa, bratwursts), chopped into discs
- 6 tablespoons of butter
- 1-2 teaspoons seasoned salt
- Fresh parsley for serving
Directions
- Preheat your grill to high (about 400°F).
- Set up two pieces of tinfoil (about 12" long each) that will create two tinfoil packets.
- Divide the vegetables between the two packets, creating a layer of the chopped onions, carrots, and peppers on the bottom of each.
- Add a layer of chopped sausage on top of the vegetables.
- Divide the package of frozen Mrs. T's Classic Cheddar Pierogies, and place into a layer on top of the sausage in each packet.
- Add 3 tablespoons of butter on top of the pierogies in each packet and sprinkle with seasoned salt.
- Gently fold up the sides of the tinfoil, folding the top together to seal each packet.
- Place the tinfoil packets onto the preheated grill. Cook for 15-20 minutes, rotating the packets 90° halfway through cooking.
- When packets are ready when the pierogies reach an internal temperature of 160°F.
- Top with fresh parsley and enjoy!
