Mini Pierogy Sausage and Cranberry Stuffing is a sweet and savory stuffing experience. This hearty recipe combines Mrs. T’s Mini 4 Cheese Medley Pierogies with ground sausage, tender vegetables, and tangy dried cranberries, making it the perfect side dish for any holiday feast or family dinner.

Ingredients

Ingredients:
  • 1 box Mrs. T’s Mini 4 Cheese Medley Pierogies
  • 1 lb ground sausage
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 celery stalks, finely chopped
  • 1 ½ cups chicken broth
  • 6 oz stuffing mix
  • ½ cup dried cranberries
  • Parsley, garnish
  • Gravy, optional

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. In a stockpot over medium heat, cook the ground sausage until browned and cooked through. Remove the sausage from the pot and set aside, leaving any rendered fat in the pot.
  3. In the same pot, add the butter. Once melted, add the chopped onion and celery. Sauté until the vegetables are softened.
  4. Once the onion and celery are cooked through, add the chicken broth and bring it to a boil.
  5. Stir in the stuffing mix, and when the chicken broth is almost all absorbed, fold in Mrs. T’s Mini 4 Cheese Medley Pierogies, sausage, and dried cranberries, mixing well to combine.
  6. Immediately transfer the stuffing mixture to the baking dish, cover with foil, and bake for 30 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
  8. Garnish with parsley and a side of gravy, if desired.
