Ingredients:
- 1 1lb box of Mrs. T's Mini Classic Cheddar Pierogies
- 2 tbsp salted butter
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Directions
- In a pan on medium low heat, add butter. When the butter is melted, stir in flour and combine until it forms a roux.
- Pour in whole milk, shredded cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper and stir until combined. Simmer for 1-2 minutes until the cheese sauce slightly thickens.
- Boil 4 quarts of water. Add frozen pierogies and return to a boil. Cook for 3 minutes.
- Drain pierogies and then combine with cheese sauce.
