Cheese Fondue with Mrs. T’s Four Cheese Medley Mini Pierogies

Notes: Dipper recommendations include, but are not limited to, soft pretzels, cubed bread, steamed vegetables, sliced apples, cubed bread, grapes, and cooked sausage

Ingredients:
  • 1 Box Mrs. T’s Four Cheese Medley Mini Pierogies
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 8 oz gruyere, grated
  • 8 oz swiss/fontina, grated
  • 2 Tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • Fresh nutmeg

Directions

  1. Saute Mrs. T’s Four Cheese Medley Mini Pierogies until golden brown following the box instructions . Set aside and keep warm while you make the fondue.
  2. In a small heavy bottomed pot or fondue pot. Simmer wine over low heat. Add the garlic and flour and stir well.
  3. Slowly add in the cheeses a handful at a time, stirring well until completely melted.
  4. Continue the process until all of the cheese is added.
  5. Grate in a little fresh nutmeg and whisk until combined.
  6. Serve warm with Mrs. T’s Four Cheese Medley Mini Pierogies and any other dippers of your choice
